| I'm really excited about this weekend and I'm not really sure why. Maybe its because all of my friends are home from college. I do know that I won't get my nose pierced. Apparently no one thinks I should. So, I'm not. Yesterday was a lot of fun. Allison, Kandyce, and I went swimming. And Lea and I have decided that we are going to go to San Antonio again! Well thats all for today....I've got a lot of important things to do like unload the dishwasher and go buy my dad a gift for his 45th birthday (which is today).

| Well...the crappy photo developing people lost my pics from Chicago....they suck! Anyway...I've decided that I have to take a vacation at least once or twice a year. I mean BIG trips like cruises and resorts. And you may be asking yourself "How can she afford that?" Well, my dear friends, I have no idea....but it needs to happen. As I was talking to Allison last night, I realized that I am always stressed out and that the only way to get away from these "stressers" is to go far, far away. After last night, I think we all need a vacation....

| Let me just say that all the expectations I had about U2 were nothing compared to how FREAKIN AWESOME they really are! I would have to say that it was the best money I've ever spent....and....our concert was taped to become the tour dvd! I also sat by a TBN show host at the concert...kinda strange but a relief to know that they aren't robots like I had assumed....And to the girl that got pulled on stage, played "Party Girl" with U2, and Bono kissed...you are the luckiest person in the world. I cannot put into words what an almost spiritual experience this was. If you have the opportunity to go see U2, I would do it...you will so regret it if you don't when you see this dvd. Anywho...off my U2 soapbox....Chicago was great! I love it there...our hotel was amazing, the food was amazing, and the seats we had at the Cubs game were AMAZING...I was on tv....we were soo close that we could touch the players...but I didn't because they have bats and I only had a hot dog....I saw Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves...they were shooting a movie by our hotel. And finally, I went to the biggest Old Navy I have ever seen....a huge 4 story Old Navy in the middle of Chicago...what a great town.....well I'm going to sleep now...U2 rocks....I just can't say that enough.... | | |
